Blogging Flop

I am a flop at blogging!  I will admit, obviously it is something that I really need to work harder on.  It should not be that difficult to type a short synapsis of whatever is floating around in my noggin, but I sometimes feel as though I lack something crucial there.  Anyways the temperature outside is currently sits at hotter than Hades, but other than that the news is pretty dormant.

Mental Case

I do not have a mental case, I am one.  I think this time I have really done it.  You may disagree thinking that I am the most sane person you know..... but I promise I will give you a few examples as to why you are wrong.  1. I joined the rugby team. 2. I forgot I started my laundry and now must be up for another hour waiting for it to get done. 3. Well I cannot think of anything relevant that can top the first two so I guess I will leave that open for you to think of something.  Well, I had to get that off of my mind for now, who knows what else there is to come!

I have learned a few very important lessons thus far at school.  Some of these include but are not limited to: slippery cement does not always look slippery, teachers assign homework without really assigning it (it is a guessing game really),what was once a 12 minute walk before the snow is not a 17 minute walk, and boys are gross.  In this particular post I would like to focus on the last one.  I never really had to deal with boys in such close areas until moving up here, and what an experience it has been.  Do not get me wrong, the boys are very nice, but there is only so many times that you can walk into the laundry room and see their nasty clothes sitting on the washer before you are done with it!  But really they are nice gents, but they do not practice the best habits.  I guess I just need to realize that they are just a different species and accept them for that.

Cave Dwellers

I was pondering on why women are so important in the human world.  I tried to get past the obvious reasons such as they are funny, talented, intelligent, and the list could go on.  I wanted to find the most important reason of our existence and I think that I might have reached that.  If women were not made, men would still be cave men, period, end of story.  If the cave man did not have the cave woman he would be well, screwed.  They say the cave man invented the wheel, but we all very well are aware that it is was the woman who had the brains to make the wheel.  And fire, forget it, it was all the woman.  The cave man would have been very content eating very red meat, but it as his sane partner who knew that barbaric food could not be good, so she made fire.  All in all without the cave woman, men would be dwelling in caves, throwing rocks, and eating very red meat.  All I can say is thank you to the female cave dweller.

And now for the quote of the week:I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. – Maya Angelou.

It has been a long time I know, but as it is the start to a new year I am going to try and post some little something once a week..... atleast until I get sick of it.  I anticipated the winter up here to be cold and bitter... and it really has not been.  And I realize now that I have written it down there is going to be a huge snowstorm with record breaking temperatures.  Anyways, the new semester has started and I am excited, it will be amazing.  Lastly, for this new resolution I am always going to end in a quote so there is actual incite that can help people.

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

It is a beautiful fall week in Logan, better yet, it is a beautiful fall week of Halloween week in Logan.  The leaves are transforming from spring green to a deep burgandy to a burnt orange and then a crisp mustard yellow.  I know it sounds absolutely perfect and I so wish that I could just sit out right in the middle of it...... but that would be too nice.  Rather I am stuck studying, doing math problem after math problem, calculating number after number.  The day that I am done with my math class will be one joyous day. I figure take it day by day, problem by problem and sooner or later it will done, finito, complete.

My Bike

Right, left....right ..... left, two more minutes.  Breath in and breath out, let the cool breeze blow my bangs off of me forehead.  That yellow stationary bike is my strange obsession right now.  It sits right in the middle of an open window.   It is not fancy but it really does not have to be, honestly I just sit on that little hard triangle and pedal.  Cycling is my stress reliever, I really do my best thinking on that bike, I study on it, I read on it, I watch movies on it as well.  My dad was right, onse you start cycling, it begins streaming in your blood. I love biking, period, end of story.
